The theme of Jiří’s work is the medium of photography in the context of a non-linear perception of time. The project is set in the classic story of Robinson Crusoe, which serves as a certain platform and structure enabling work with a theoretical text, striving for general accessibility of the resulting project. The work examines the work of the author Jan Svoboda, a pioneer of non-narrative / abstract photography, and its context in the field of thematization of the medium of photography itself. The project uses specific symbolism related to the researched theme of temporality, appearing in the environment of Robinson’s story and thus allows for a complex processing, resulting in the form of audio dramatization, enabling the desired fusion of the theoretical and artistic parts into one whole.

Hlinotéka is a laboratory of ideas, a studio for residents and members, a showroom of products, and an educational center offering classes in ceramic techniques. In 2025, the program was expanded to include an artist-in-residence scheme, through which Hlinotéka hosts six residencies throughout the year, some of which are presented in collaboration with Lobster Space.
